Windy Consequences

Having been ‘offline’ all week with flu, and with bad wind being a consequence of the illness, I was surprised when I briefly ventured outside this morning to find there were further wind problems.During the night and early morning there were gales in MK and before getting into the car we couldn’t help but notice what a lucky escape the…

Porthmeor Sunset

After the Campers had left the Staff made their way down to Porthmeor Beach for a Chinese takeaway and some liquid refreshment. During the fun I tore myself away from the game of ‘truth or dare’ and took some amazing shots of the sunset. This one is my second favourite. My favourite was published previously.

Unique Harbour View

After a very frustrating day (I won’t bore you with the details) we finally had about an hour for a walk. We decided to follow the coastal path from Carbis Bay down to St. Ives and on the way we came to a clearing in the trees which revealed this unique and beautiful view of St. Ives. After visiting on…

St. Ives Diagonal

As I was walking from the Harbour to Porthmeor Beach I was struck by the beauty of the houses and cottages and when I looked up and saw the sun setting on the upper floor and set against the deep blue sky I had to take this shot. I know it’s a bit random – but I love it.

Cookhouse Sunset

This shot was taken one evening as I walked from our tent to the Marquee for the final pre-devotional set-up. I stopped in my tracks and headed back for the camera. I got about four shots of this, but this is the best in my opinion.Note: the horizon is fine, it’s the flagpoles which aren’t truly vertical.

Boats in Harbour

I love the way the light shines through to the sand below and creates the green water in this shot. You can’t beat a shot of St. Ives harbour.
